Medusa has always been a prominent figure in Greek Mythology. I was inspired by the original story and wanted to reproduce a demonic figure using clay. I was limited to resources, due to the pandemic. I have produced a sculpture which is strong with prominent demonic and scary features. The snakes move in and around the face, creating a vision that she is speaking to the viewer.
