Embrace your beautiful scars

My main point in this project is a highlight the importance of resilience, positivity, balance and adaptation relates to Mental Health encouraging awareness of connection and appreciation.
In times of uncertainty, I find influence in Japanese Culture and Art.

The Japanese art of Kintsugi, also known as kinsukuroi, is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery by mending the areas of breakage with lacquer dusted or mixed with powdered gold, silver, or platinum. As a philosophy, it treats breakage and repair as part of the history of an object, rather than something to disguise the breakage. With this concept the pieces I have produced embed this philosophy, that something broken can be beautiful.
